Mr. Lei was born in April 1961. In 1986, he graduated from Tsinghua University, with a Master’s Degree in Isotope Separation, and started his career at the Technology Section in Shanxi Uranium Enrichment Company, holding positions including Assistant Engineer, Engineer and Senior Engineer.
In 1997, Mr. Lei became Deputy Chief Engineer of the Company and was appointed as Vice President in 2001.
In 2002, he joined Institute of Physical-Chemical Engineering as its President.
Since 2010, he has been Chief Engineer of CNNC and Vice President of CNS.
