Mr. Ye Guoan, graduated from Sichuan University, and joined
CIAE(China Institute of Atomic Energy) in 1986. Since then he have being had
investigation on R&D or D&D projects on partitioning of actinides,
reprocessing process of used fuel more than 30 years in CIAE. In this period he
had Master degree and Doctorate degree on nuclear chemical engineering in 1992
and 2002 respectively. Ye, together with the team of reprocessing developed the
flowsheet of RPP(Reprocessing pilot plant) , advanced salt-free Purex process
for high burn-up NPP used fuel,
flowsheet of HLLW separation based on new extractant TODGA, and completed the
construction of China Reprocessing and Radiochemistry Laboratory. He was
rewarded more than 10 provincial level awards, and 3 Second Prize of National
Prize for Progress in Science and Technology.
Now Ye is the board chairman of Nuclear Chemistry and Engineering
Branch of CNS, and China representative
of IAEA on Technical Working Group of nuclear fuel cycle.
